Welcome to my online gallery of paintings on canvas and wood. Painting for me is a process of discovery combined with meticulous precision. I work between small pieces that are intimate in size and detail to the larger pieces that are more physical and commanding in their presence. My paintings are both personal and reflective; a continuous colourful landscape concerned with the transformation of the physical state into the visual, emotional and mental state.

Bold in colour and rich in diverse materials, these intricate and textured surfaces are achieved by using old techniques with gold and other precious leaf, pigments and gesso primers and layered with a mixture of contemporary materials including acrylic paint, glitter, iridescent pigments and mediums and spray paint.

These paintings are in single or multiple (diptych and triptych) gallery wrapped canvases with painted or gilded edges so framing is not necessary, all paintings are ready to hang immediately.
